What does shared group mean at VIVO?+
A guaranteed departure with a strict maximum of 10 guests per guide, so you get personal attention, quiet trails, and better wildlife sightings — at a fraction of the private price.
How is shared group different from private?+
Shared group shares the guide with other travelers in a small group (maximum 15 total). Private is your group only, on your schedule, at premium pricing. Both use the same naturalist guides and equipment.
Is departure guaranteed for solo travelers?+
Shared group tours confirm with 2+ travelers. If you are booking alone, we hold your slot and either add another guest or move you to a nearby date at no cost.
Do kids get a discount on shared group?+
Yes — children 5 to 11 pay 70% of the adult rate; infants 0 to 4 pay a symbolic 20%. Same rule across every VIVO tour.
